Absolutely fabulous! Charming, delightfully quaint, and the best hot chocolate ever! The scones were delicious, and the Pumpkin Chai was tasty and flavorful! The service was quick, friendly and charming. A must visit when in Edinburgh! Wish we lived here, we’d be back!
Their salads are incredible, music is amazing, and the cafe has been helpful in my finishing many an essay. As a student, I find myself looking for cafés to really help me work in a fun environment, and The Wall does exactly that.
A smile would have made all the difference. ! They have a lovely menu with loads of attractive things. The Spinach feta pie was nice but the slice with the top burnt filo pastry should not have been served up. Coffee good. Tables clean. Nice vibe.
More on Insta @coffeescakesandcafes The cosy, warming vibe is only added to by the smiles of the staff. Being so close to the Royal Mile I expected this place to feel overly touristy overpriced. Whilst undoubtedly expensive it was actually pretty decent by Edinburgh standards especially considering the beautiful interior. The menu is rather extensive too, offering salads toasties alongside the typical coffee cake. I had an expertly crafted coffee (with generous crema). I would say though that if you were to visit this wee cafe then opt for a large cup as even this wasn't huge the smaller portions are perhaps reflecting why the overall cost wasn't as bad as expected as it's less value for money
