We eat here occasionally and always enjoy the food. Today decided to have breakfast and go all out for the Full Scottish for £9.99. What a disappointment and a rip off. Asked for poached eggs. They came HARD BOILED and were tiny. The beans were a tea spoonful, as was the haggis and mushrooms. It was luke warm, oily and tasteless. You know when you’ve looked forward to something, paying plenty for it and feel let down felt disappointed, ripped off and still hungry. £33 for 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees. We won’t be back.

Returned here as had a positive experience previously and thought we would see how they faired a second time. Cannot compliment enough. From the moment we entered we were attentively looked after without it being pushy or overbearing. Between Sam and Lesley we were looked after with efficiency and both were happy to go through our selections with some special dietary requirements. Excellent service and excellent food. Thank you

Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Staff always make you feel welcomed and it’s got a really relaxed atmosphere with some good pub food. My most recent visit we were looked after by the lovely Lesley who was great! There was a mixup with the booking, however she ensured we were able to still get a table and catered to us. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our lunch today. Service was quick and efficient and our server Lesley was absolutely delightful. She went above and beyond for my daughter who has a dairy allergy, making sure her desert was fun. Usually she gets a very plain desert if any at all as dairy free puddings are scarce. Lesley made sure her pudding looked fun and was delicious. Thanks for the great meal.

Warm friendly welcome. Good atmosphere. Nice menu selection. Food arrived in a short time. Well presented and pipping hot. Good table service and asked about allergies.
