The Canons' Gait - Edinburgh, City of

Elizabeth was our bartender and she was excellent! She was from the US but was familiar with the Scottish culture. The restaurant had great Scottish music playing. Thumbs up! We only had a couple of beers and didn't eat, but the food looked amazing.

Another fantastic pub in Edinburgh! The food was delicious, especially the deep fried Mars bar. The beer I had was exceptional. I highly recommend this place.

The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We even tried the famous deep fried Mars bar.

We really enjoyed this pub. Great food and beer. I was going to rate it 5/5 for sure but I had to go with 4 stars eventually because they charge you 10% fee on their own without telling you. I planned to give 10% myself and I also did. But I wouldnt if I noticed they do it for you! Good pubs shouldn't do this. It’s a pitty because this one other than that really good is. But why should I pay 20% extra? I don't know but it spoiled my experience a bit.
