Contribuiți la feedbackI ordered take-out tonight and had the worst meal I have had in many years. The vegetable pakora was disgusting and the chicken Pathia tasted like chili jam - it was vile. I only gave it a rating of 1, as I couldn't give it 0.
I had been recommended to try this restaurant several times before, but had never gone until now. On my first visit, I ordered the mixed grill which was not up to par, as the prawn was missing. The staff seemed more focused on the bar rather than the dining area, as they didn't come to our table until we called for them. It felt like they didn't care if we were enjoying our food or if everything was okay. Overall, I did not enjoy the food or the service. The manager tried to help, but the waitress seemed disinterested.
I went to this restaurant for the first time with my friend after a fringe show. We tried the delicious Jeera Aloo with balsamic rice and enjoyed the variety of vegetable dishes they offered. The staff was friendly and the decor was lovely.
Have been here a few times and normally always good, however on this occasion the service was poor. We had been in the restaurant for 1 hour and 40 mins and hadn't been served our mains. I wouldn't have said it was that busy either. The food we had was nice. We asked for some chicken tikka sauce with bread for one of our party and when I checked the bill, they had charged for a chicken tikka masal. I did query it and was told they had no way just to charge us for the sauce. Can't say I'd rush back
The food was very tasty but the servers were attentive but liked to value-add. We ordered papadams to nibble on while waiting for our curries and they arrived with dips. What we did not realise that the dips that we did not order were not with the papadams but were charged separately. Also, when we asked for steamed rice they gave us pilau rice also charged for pilau!
