Southern Cross Cafe

We discovered this café while we walked in Edinburgh. It is a beautiful café with friendly helpful staff . The service was also good. We tried her cake, brownies and waffles loved it. Also the ambience was above. Prices were reasonable, not too cheap, not too expensive. It is a cozy restaurant and not too spacious I would definitely recommend this café in Edinburgh.

Lovely little spot for a cuppa and cake. Service slightly slow but that was only due to understaffing. The carrot cake is a must try!

The place to come for a high quality delicious breakfast. Staff are welcoming and the venue has a very relaxed atmosphere. Background music is played that could be a little for some early, but this is imprisoned with the relaxed and friendly mood. The view of the menu is also ideal for lunch and afternoon tea. Many delicious cakes lure you out of the front window.

Good coffee, even better hot chocolate. We already visited the cafe twice (in two days because it is so good. Savoury food as well as cakes and pastry are great (try the scones! :
