Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a fantastic addition to the eating scene in leith! unusual cakes (the geeseberry and the oldest looked stunning); the heavenly and earthly has a hauch of love, and the brownie is the gooeyist indulgent. I had the rhabarb choux, which was perfectly crunchy buns filled with Rhabarb cream, which rose on the side of the soft. cheeses includes erringtons lancelot with three different types of cracker. I chose the lobster roll that was moist, full of taste and went into the flash of an eye. the coffee is delivered by williams and johnson from the street. apple juice is sown in the house and mungoswells flour is used for brote. a visit worth. oh and it is guided by the young from gardener’s cottage.
I really enjoyed the high-quality ingredients and attention to detail in the food at this restaurant. I was happy to see that they also heat up the tea/coffee cups (although, larger cups would be appreciated) to prevent the coffee from getting cold too quickly. The menu is beautifully simple yet creative, and the prices are reasonable for the Leith area. I also appreciated the small discount for locals, which was a nice touch. I am excited to return for the evening dishes paired with a bottle of wine. As a vegetarian, I found the options to be quite good, and I can tell that they enjoy being creative and mixing things up a bit. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
The food, coffee, and service were all fantastic. We were only there for a few days but would definitely recommend it.
This restaurant has a lovely outdoor garden area that is beautifully decorated.
Great new addition to Commercial Quay... just grabbed a quick lunch of Arbroath Smokie roll and Mutton Pie- the bread was beautiful for the smokie bun, packed with the crunch of cucumber. The pastry for the pie was UNREAL, using house-rendered lamb fat and tasting all the better for it. Thoroughly recommend.
