Contribuiți la feedbackI stopped by this cafe for a coffee while waiting for my wife. I ordered a flat white coffee and a millionaire shortbread. Both the coffee and the shortbread were delicious. The cafe doesn't have too many seats, but there is a great selection of food, especially for takeout.
I have visited multiple locations of this restaurant, trying each one only once. I wanted to see what all the hype was about since many of my friends have recommended it. Personally, I found that all of their hot dishes are overly salty for my taste. I am particular about food that is too seasoned, and their soup was particularly salty. I was surprised that they continue to serve it that way. Their roast dishes were also too salty and usually served lukewarm. Some of their cold sandwiches were fine, but others were also overly salty. I'm not sure why they choose to season their food this way, as it is much saltier than other restaurants I have tried. Additionally, the Edinburgh location tends to have long lines during lunchtime, which is another reason for me to avoid going back.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of unique options such as roast meats, hot dishes, baked potatoes, salads, and soups that can't be found elsewhere. The staff is extremely friendly and although the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food is worth it. The option to dine in is convenient as well.
There is a huge choice from hot meats, pasta, stir fry to salads and baked potatoes. If you want a combination not offered, no problem. Staff are really helpful and chatty. It is best for takeaway as the seating area is fairly basic but adequate
I popped in here for lunch. Lots to choose from sandwiches, hot meal and salads. My sandwich was good. Staff friendly too. A good option for lunch in this area.
