Peter's Yard - Edinburgh, City of

It is very close to the uni and is a nice place to take a break between the submissions or for the long day in the library. Not the cheapest option, but the cardamom hot chocolate is one of my favorite! They have tried their sandwiches several times and are good.

I really like this place, even if it is not the cheapest for a quick coffee break. I like the atmosphere and I love her mazarin, this little tasty bite deserves a stop!

Peter’s yard has quickly become my favorite restaurant when I’m in uni for a long day and on Friday morning became my regular place. the employees are always welcoming (maybe because they recognize us) and smile how we come. the selection of tasty ones on the central table is something I quickly conquer, and I love their blueberry vanilla skyberry vanilla bunny. although I can also recommend the scones and focaccias! there is such a great selection of food - the suppen are always delicious, and I love the granola breakfast for early morning. there is also a huge selection of tees from the tea menu, which are served in cute colorful teapots. my favorite but is the hot...read more

For lunch. had a sandwich and a hot chocolate. loved the note of zimt in the hot chocolate, only to increase it! then I had a little cinnamon bunk. yum yum yum.

While Peters Yard is more of a Bakery than a coffee shop, they still need to produce coffee as good as their food Their layout with the food in the middle of the cafe, surrounded by tables and the queue, where you pick up and carry the food to the counter to pay for it, is just odd and awkward The coffee is more often too hot and comes across in a tarnished flavour in the coffee itself The food though is not that bad, but the general experience just really lowers the score than I can give.
