Contribuiți la feedbackLocated in the charming suburb of Leith in Edinburgh, this restaurant is visually appealing. However, the service left much to be desired. While the food was decent, the servers displayed indifference towards us. We were taken aback by the high price of our main dish and an additional charge of £5 for bread. Furthermore, gratuity was automatically included in our bill without our consent. When we raised our concerns about the extra charges, our server informed us that it is the restaurant's policy to not mention these costs upfront and to wait for customers to complain. With so many other better dining options in Leith, it's advisable to carefully review your bill if you choose to visit this restaurant.
Not much as in Edinburgh recently. We ordered steaks that were all right, not great, just OK. My wife ordered a chocolate fond for dessert. Kellner said that the regular cook was out, so it can last longer than usual. 25mins later he comes back and says he had to tie the one he had done when it was a disaster. Couple of espressos on the house. Fondant finally arrives in the middle. Deleted from the bill. Need better chefs. It won't go back.
Nice setting not too loud for the time of the year and the staff were great so all in a good night and will definitely be back
