Five Guys - Edinburgh, City of

This is the place I come to for a treat when I am visiting Edinburgh as the prices are quite expensive to warrant coming here regularly. Service is quick. I love the fact that the burgers are cooked to order and you can customise what you want on them (rather than having to pick out the stuff you don't like). Avoid the grilled cheese sandwiches though, they are simply the burger bread roll turned the other way round with a slice or two of cheese shoved in the middle and put on the grill not how I envisaged they'd be and definitely not worth what was charged! The chip portion is huge but equally so is the cost for it, but even a small one can serve 2 folk to make it a bit more cost effective.

If you like paying two to three times what you should, this place can't be beat. Normal fountain drinks are £3.40. Regular fries are £4.50. A kid's cheeseburger is £6.25. And £5.25 for a milkshake. Was probably the fun place to go when it opened but it's hard to imagine it can keep fooling people for long.

Visited Edinburgh for the weekend went to 5 guys absolutely disgusting chips full of salt not edible.. burgers given in silver foil.. really? up your game 5 guys would have preferred to go burger king if i could find it

If we are going to compare the fast food, Five guys would win without doubt. Big burgers and very good taste and flavour.

I had to go and Vomit after eating this burger and chips, the food was just awful.
