Cobbs Fort Kinnaird

Been to Cobbs many times in the past, so ventured in for a hot roll and coffee. My latte was piping hot (nothing worse than a lukewarm coffee), and I could see the staff wiping down tables and chairs after each one was vacated. Very reassuring to see. I stayed for a second coffee!

This was my first time here, and It was very good! My only complaints were that the drinks came a while before the food that the small breakfast egg was quite greasy. The food tasted great though the presentation was lovely. The tables were cleared efficiently as customers left it was overall a rather peaceful atmosphere. Would recommend.

STaff here work really hard to ensure that customer expectations are not only met but exceeded. With a great and imaginative selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch and homebaking options, plus amazing range of hot and cold beverages and absolutely brilliant coffees served in a mug(not a paper cup! I could not recommend this little in shop cafe more. IN particular, the daily selection of scones! But be warned go early or mid afternoon to avoid the long queues since this place is deservedly popular!

Went for coffee scones the cafe had been refurbished and the seating was much better. There was not a lot of choice however the coffee scones were lovely.

Had a lovely lunch here this afternoon. We arrived just after 3pm not realising that hot food service stops then. Despite this Cobbs kindly volunteered to make us 2 toasties,….. and boy were they worth it. Hubby had Cajun Chicken and cheese…. he was raving about it. I had Cheese with Beetroot Chutney which was equally delicious. Thank you for the brilliant service…. we’ll be back!
