Greek Taverna - Edgewater

My fiancée and I visited this lovely Greek restaurant after our spa day at Sojo Spa, and it was our first experience with Greek cuisine. Our server, Vasilli, who was also Greek, made the experience even more enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service. He suggested we try the Greek taverna chips, which were crispy roasted zucchini and eggplant with Skordalia dip. I must say, they were so addictive! My fiancée ordered the chicken souvlaki entree, and the special sauce they used was delightful. I had the Pastitsio, which is a Greek baked macaroni with ground beef, and it was absolutely delicious and quite filling. Overall, we had a fantastic experience here—10/10! The food, service, and prices were all outstanding!

After grabbing a few more takeout orders, we decided to dine in tonight, and our experience was just as fantastic, if not better. This is the kind of restaurant and small business we all want to support during the pandemic. Not to mention, it serves the best Greek food I have ever tasted. It's a truly wonderful establishment!

Excellent choice! This was my first experience with Greek food and dessert, and it was truly delicious and flavorful! Our waiter, Greg, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended—100%!

This has become one of my favorite places. Our favorites are the chicken plate and the gyro plate. Just delicious. Very fast delivery and the food is always nice and hot when it is delivered. Also very large plates. I personally can get some meals from them. My only wish is that they have sent more Pita bread and maybe when olives were in the plate. Besides, it won't be better.

Fabulous lunch and love love their coffee. The lunch menu is super worth it. Good quality quantity at affordable cost. Horiatiko Beef Burger was cooked to perfection!
