L’étoile - EDGARTOWN

Enjoyed the experience of the private event at L'Etoile after the opening night for the MVAAFF. The atmosphere was nice, with both indoor and outdoor options. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Very good on all fronts. Great food and service one of the best meals I've had on the island. Everything we ordered was delicious and the lamb was done perfectly the short rib melted in your mouth, and the gnocchi had a nice pan sear without being overdone. The wine was also delicious with bottles in a variety of price ranges. My only regret is that I didn't order the gelato not because my dessert wasn't good, but because the gelato was just fantastic.

Enjoyed almost everything about our dining experience. Good cocktails and we both had the lamb which was perfect. The greeter and our waitress both provided a high level of service which I appreciated. The only thing I did not enjoy was their cherry creme brulee which was unfortunately disgusting and ruined my palate. I would just avoid it in the future. The more I think about it, I think something went wrong with it perhaps. Meal type: Dinner

Initially the restaurant had lost our reservation (on Rezy? . But as I was able to show my Open Table confirmation (where I had booked it , they accommodated us with a beautiful table in the garden tent. The service was outstanding! And the food was delicious! Great wine list, too! My only complaint is that they gave me exactly 2 Brussel sprouts with my meal. So 4 lamb chops and 2 Brussel sprouts seems a little unbalanced…maybe double that vegetable serving…? Otherwise a truly great experience!

The staff was wonderful and the food was excellent! definitely glad that we made reservations here. will come back next year definitiw when in mw!
