Good solid breakfast diner in the heart of Edgartown. Locals go there so you know it’s trustworthy. Need some eggs … then this is your spot if the line isn’t too long.

Last Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day but because it was after Columbus Day, most places in Edgartown were closed for the season. Along with some friends we found the Dockside and were delighted with the friendliness and service, and food! Clearly a haunt for locals, nevertheless we were offered coffee while we waited for stools together. We were made to feel quite at home. The omelette was as good as any I ever had. We will be back!

Dock Street ,where the locals eat fisherman order breakfast sandwiches. You want hearty old school breakfast, start your day,it’s the best!
