Sun Inn - Eden

I stopped by The Sun Inn while in the area. The staff was very welcoming and the beer selection was fantastic. Although we didn't eat, the food being served looked delicious. Definitely a must-visit spot when in Pooley Bridge.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the pizza is delicious. My husband also enjoyed one of the beers they had on tap. The prices are good and the location is convenient. However, I have to give it 3 stars because the tables need a good cleaning and they should be more diligent about picking up cigarette butts.

We had never been to the sun. our son is autistic, and we were not sure how he was if too busy. friends had recommended the steak and the Ale Pie, and we decided to try it. we came at 445 Friday from...Jubilee. yes, it was busy, they asked for their order, but not too long. had an inside immediately. steak and ale pie fabulous. the specific nutritional needs. but what was outstanding was the care and attention of the staff. thanks for being so understood and friendly.

More terrible place. not enough personal and those who do it care. booked years ago and had 30 minutes waiting for only one drink. strongly recommend never to visit.

We just wanted a simple pub dinner, that's what we got at the sun. it is a beautiful traditional cumbrian pub with a good, varied menu. the staff was very helpful, even though very busy.
