The Bell - Eckington

Absolutely worth a visit! I stopped by for a meal and ordered the steak pie, which I would rate a full 5 out of 5. It was likely the best pie I've ever had at a pub—homemade and packed with meat. I ended up having a drink and decided to stay the night. It was a bit noisy for my taste, but my partner slept soundly. The breakfast the next morning was also fantastic—fresh and hot, featuring lovely local sausage. I’m heading that way again next month and will definitely make a return visit. Room wise, they were clean and comfortable, and notably quiet. One room with an extra camp bed felt a bit cramped, but overall, it was good value for money. As for the food and drinks, everything was of excellent quality and well presented. The lamb steak was impressively sized and priced very well, while the beef burger looked scrumptious and received high praise for its taste. The roast beef was outstanding. Highlights of the hotel include a romantic atmosphere and excellent value for money.
