When we arrived we were rudely greeted by the waitress who said that she had not received any booking (despite getting a reminder yesterday morning on my mobile) and when I showed her my booking she said that they didn't have a 50 percent off deal either. The restaurant was full with what looked like a coach party!!!! She didn't even apologise! We would not return to this restaurant!!!!!
Very nice and friendly lady owner of hotel and café will tell you what is the specials of the day menu del dia (9 euro . Food was good, fresh and tasty, ask for a dessert!
We highly recommend to stop at Plateria to enjoy one of the great daily meals (local typical Spanish food) in a very relaxed and neat atmosphere in Ecija. It was the first time in Spain we felt very welcome at a restaurant. The lovely waitress did a great job and explained everything in English. Thank you, we had a great time.
We stopped for lunch in Ecija en route between Ronda and Cordoba. Ecija is a pretty town, with many towers. We had an excellent lunch at La Plateria for 9 euros, including fresh fish from the market. The owner is very friendly and speaks good English. Parking under the Plaza De Espana is easy and two minutes walk away.
We stumbled across this restaurant whist visiting Ecija. We stopped for a coffee mid morning and the owner who speaks perfect English explained about their lunch menu, 3 courses of home made food and a drink for 9 euros each.. We decided to walk back a few hours later and give it a go. The food was really good and so was the service. Great home cooked food!
