Contribuiți la feedbackIt's weekend and we celebrated two birthdays. we were a group of people and a dog. the menu was obviously preordered. the restaurant is a traditional Austrian house, somewhere on the land. the village is called ottenschlag mühlviertel. it is only a few minutes away from Linz. the restaurant is located in a traditional farmhouse, and the trip there is very picturesque. we have done trembling, which means that we are eating like the trembling. although admittedly more civilized, with knife and fork. the main course (we knew that we would get a lot of food, so we skipped the appetizers) consisting of ripening, carving, roasted duck, roasted bun and pork roasting were served together with arts of dumpling and kartoffel in a large pan. they served warm red and white cabbage salad, potato salad and beet root salad. they notice that all foods are made right, which means traditional wise. for this they use family recipes and that's what you taste. so good! for dessert there was a good selection of local cakes that chose me a cardinal cut. that is in the ground a sponge cake, with cream and a very soft merengue. the drink list offers a good selection of Austrian weeping, regional beering and excellent schnapps (Austrian grappa). try the marillenschnaps (apricot) or nutschnaps (nuts), they are very smooth. the service was fast, efficient and very friendly and polite. of course they know their menu and they also have a good sense of humor. if they go there, have a German editor with them, I don't think they speak English at all. but this restaurant deserves so lob in this forum.
Der Schweinsbraten ist der Beste. Die Blunzen ist auch nicht schlecht. Die Bewirtung wie immer ausgezeichnet. Kommen immer gerne.
