I'm so excited that I found this perfect little cafe, perfectly situated near my job on Industrial way. If you work in the area are have grown tired of the same-old lunch-hour locales, and are looking for a new spot close by, this is the one! They have daily home-made soup (I chose the potato leek today) and a fresh salad. YUM! They can also make you a sandwhich, wrap, etc. Check them out!!
I had this delicious food at an open house for a business local to Industrial way. When I asked where the food came from, I was told Cafe Christopher. After trying the food there, I needed to go to the place itself. Cafe Christopher is a gem hiding in an office building!! The food is amazing!
A hidden little cafe tucked inside of an office building lobby. I worked down the street from here for ages, literally driving past the building every single day, and had no idea they were even there. When a coworker told me they existed, and that the food was pretty decent, I finally decided to give 'em a whack. My coworker was right the food is decent. Not as gourmet as Brennan 's, down the street, but notably above average. Typical cafe fare here, catering mostly to the workers in the office building that the cafe is housed inside, as well as anybody who decides to drop in. You 'll find sandwiches, salads, paninis, and soups. Soups are why I came here, and soups are why I continue to show up on occasion. Everything here is homemade, so if you 're worried about dipping the ladle into a vat of freshly made campbells, think again. The cooks here do a pretty good job in keeping the variety fresh, and they 'll typically have 2 3 soups on at any given time, ranging wildly in styles from gumbos to split pea, and even the occasional cheese soup all rotating about 2x a week. The downside? The place is a little pricey. I usually just get a 16oz container of soup (in an effort to stay on my diet, somewhat), and with nothing else, it runs me about $4.50 or so not exactly breaking the bank, although I think it could afford to be a tiny bit cheaper. Sandwiches are all $7.50 pre tax again, a bit high in my opinion considering that higher end places down the road charge $6.95 7.50 for more gourmet options. Still, I 'll be back for the soups, ever hopeful that they 'll have the bleu cheese soup again, because as gross as it sounds, that was utterly delicious.
Cafe Christopher is different than what you're used to.
