Trumpets on the Bay - EASTPORT

The food is delicious and the service warm at this neighborhood treasure. Go when there is still some daylight so you can enjoy the wonderful view.

The service was very slow. Took several minutes after we were seated before a server took our drink orders. Then our drinks didn’t arrive for about ten more minutes. We had to ask for rolls that are normally just placed at the table. Took over five more minutes before a server took our food order and even longer for soup to arrive. All that said, the food was excellent, as always. My wife’s lobster ravioli was tasty and my veal chop was more tender than any I’ve had.

This is by far our favorite restaurant on Long Island. The food was excellent, the staff warm and friendly. We were there for an early dinner so it was beautiful and quiet and the view of the bay added a picturesque view!

Excellent food and service. Our waiter was very attentive. Crab cakes, halibut, fish and chips were delicious

Nice portions. Delicious food. Amazing specials! We brought friends from Canada who thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience! Perfect cocktails! Quite a bit overdone on the Halloween theme decorations. But all in all a good time.
