Was recommended to this place, the reviews were great... was not impressed with the food. The mac n cheese noodles were over cooked, the meatloaf was bland and the collards weren't chopped much (my preference, thought they would be)or flavorful. For the prices, I expected so much better food, I should share my recipes or open my own spot. Its a carry out establishment, so the atmosphere rating shouldn't be here, but it did look clean inside, so that's good. The customer service was nice though.

The food was fair enough. I really liked the Banana pudding, dressing and cornbread. I had their smothered pork chops and macaroni and cheese was alright. The banana pudding was the best part of my order. May try other things next time or I may just come back for the banana pudding.Food: 3/5

Worst black owned establishment in the city of East point. Over priced food nasty asf manager won’t even come to window so I can speak with him. Spend your money where you are treated as a paying customer. Jus rude to not even come to see what the issue was. If I could give them zero that’s exactly what they deserve. Canned green beans served like they were freshly picked. Macaroni disgusting smothered pork chops with Heinz brown gravy out the jar.?? I will be letting everyone I know do not support this dump in Eastpoint and Clinton Twp. To spend their money elsewhere. Support cornbread in Southfield BLK owed and Lillie maes Southfield great soul food restaurants.respectful with manners including the staff and management.

It was very clean the food was nothing like the name sake. But it was ok my daughter said the banana pudding was the best thing she got.Food: 4/5
