Welcoming with fantastic view, beautiful decor too. A great place to stop after a dog walk as dogs allowed. Hidden away but worth finding a little hidden gem

Don 't be put off by trying to find this restaurant in a car. It 's a bit round the houses but it 's worth it. The outside is not too impressive but the food was definitely worth the trip. Delicious crab salad with lemon dressing, beautifully cooked scallops, great steak and a wonderful steak and kidney pie cooked with Doombar gravy. It was nearly good enough to convert me to drinking bitter. Friendly Service and reasonable prices with a lovely outlook from the deck tables. Give it a try. You 'll be pleasantly surprised.

The restaurant's fantastic location and charming atmosphere were unfortunately let down by expensive and subpar food. The chef needs to ensure the quality of ingredients. If the prices are high, the portions and quality should match. The limited menu is acceptable, but improvements are needed. The king size scallops were disappointingly small and the roasted vine tomatoes were tiny. Charging £3 for half a slice of garlic bread is excessive. There is potential for improvement.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday with a group of about 15 people and received excellent service. While it was a bit expensive, it is definitely worth it for a special occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a pleasant Christmas meal at this restaurant. It's unfortunate to learn that it will be closing.
