Mae's Meat Market - Eastland

Not bad for a small town. I was visiting on a work trip. It’s a small meat market and restaurant. Nothing fancy but the food is pretty good. The ribeye and grilled chicken fried steak is flavorful. The chicken fried steak is huge.

I was just here and ordered a burger to go. I took the burger home and there was no meat in the burger… they forgot the patty. That’s a bit ridiculous.

Ordered a hamburger and cheeseburger with fries. Excellent! Great service too. Definitely go back again.

Delicious ma and pa café! The best chicken steak I’ve ever had came from this place. If you are in town, I recommend 100%!!!

Stopped by for lunch and it was delicious! Full house but the wait wasn’t long at all! The twice baked casserole and the sweet potato casserole are must haves! We will be back for sure! Also picked up a shirt too! “People Eat Tasty Animals!”
