Shakeaway Eastbourne

I was in Eastbourne just for a couple of hours, and it was drizzling. I popped into Shakeaway to rest and dry off, and it turned out to be the best decision I made all day. First of all, the milkshake menu is amazing. . . so many options and choices. I selected a Teresa caramel, banana, and flakes shake and it was incredibly delicious; it might be the best milkshake I've ever had. The service was friendly and cheerful. It took a while to prepare my shake, but it was worth the wait. I hope to come back to Eastbourne and Shakeaway someday, and you should too! Oh and. . . a little expensive, but I'm glad I decided to splurge. . . It made me feel happy.

My friend had come from Hungary and we went to have milkshakes. She is learning English and wanted to order on her own. She handed over the money and the woman serving us frowned and told us that we didn't have enough and that if we were going to waste her time, we shouldn't have come in! After that, we left and returned in the afternoon when someone else was serving. She was rude and spoiled the day.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant. The shakes are particularly delicious! My go-to choice is the vegan strawberry soya shake. The staff is lovely, always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The milkshake menu was impressive with many options to choose from. I decided on a Teresa with butterscotch, banana, and flake, and it was absolutely delicious – possibly the best milkshake I've ever had. The service was friendly, although my shake took a bit of time to make, it was well worth the wait. I am looking forward to returning to Eastbourne and Shakeaway in the future, and I recommend you do the same. It was a bit expensive, but treating myself was worth it and left me feeling happy.

A friend visiting from Hungary and I decided to go get milkshakes together. She is currently learning English and wanted to practice ordering on her own. When she handed over the money, the woman serving us scowled and rudely insisted that we didn't have enough. She then asked if we were going to waste her time, implying that we should not have come in at all. Feeling unwelcome, we left and returned in the evening when a different server was on duty. Unfortunately, the previous encounter had left a sour taste in our mouths, and we were disappointed by the overall experience.
