The food here is ridiculously overpriced and honestly is very bland tasting.I wrongly assumed that coffee was free refill, as most breakfast, at least all of the other ones I have been to have been free. I had a second cup of coffee, and it helped drive our bill to $42 for two people. Most diners that I have been to will be about $30-35, and you get properly FED.Service was also rough. It took forever. I almost felt like we were being ignored. The waitress kept walking past us while we waited for our receipt despite looking over at her and twiddling our thumbs. It was almost as if they didn't want our 42 dollars. It didn't feel too welcoming. We actually went twice here. The first time the service was alright. We thought we'd try it again. The second time the service was just bad.All-in-all, not worth it for me. I'll probably never come back, but I know some other people like this place.
Was overcharged for breakfasts 53.00 for 2 people. Did not inform us of specials. Charged 10.95 for sausages. Online menu says 3.00. Would not recommend this restaurant. We complained and nothing was done about it. Waitress said you could have gotten a special breakfast for 17.95 after we paid. Not acceptable.Food: 2/5
Overcharged for 2 breakfasts. $53.00 waitress said prices were explained never told us specials or prices. We complained and they did nothing. $10.95 for sausages. Online menu says $3.00. Will not eat here again. Food was average. Not worth the price.
My family just ate here and we had a wonderful time! The staff was great (we loved Jamie! , and the food was absolutely delicious and super affordable! Will definitely be back soon!Kid-friendliness: We brought our toddler and baby and they had a great time!
First of all, it was easy to find and easy, adequate parking. We walked in and the place just smelled good. We were greeted by very polite waitreses and we chose a table. 11:30 a.m. and still could order breakfast.Great. Scrambled eggs, rye toast, bacon, ham, potatoes. We kept it simple being our first time here. Well, it came out surprisingly fast even though there were people at tables around us and more at the counter. Waitress offered all the fixings; jelly, condiments etc. The eggs were cooked properly (I hate crunchy brown bits or soggy) just good fluffy scrambled eggs. The bacon was thick and crispy (I hate fatty rubbery), ham was cooked nicely had a small fatty edge. Potatoes were delicious! So many crispy edges and seasoned well. I just wish they pushed the homemade bread. I saw the small sign after. I would've paid the extra charge to taste their bread. Some reviews said it was too expensive. Honestly that is such a personal preference. For the two of us, not having to cook, dirty pans and clean up, what they charge is totally worth it. I have a hard time achieving crispy homefries like that. Plus I really liked the staff and the comfortable atmosphere. Will gladly have a late breakfast here again when passing through. Thank you Hotcakes. Ps. I am regret that I didn't think to take pics. It was eaten too soon!
