As for the food quality, it has been shockingly poor by any reasonable standard, especially considering the prices, which are higher than the local average. Although the menu is creative, the freshness of the ingredients leaves much to be desired—one of my salads featured wilted greens, and I received frozen seafood in one of my dishes that was undercooked. The most perplexing experience occurred when I made a reservation for 4:30 PM on February 14th of last year. Upon my arrival, the host informed me that she could not accommodate me because my reservation was for just one person. The restaurant was entirely empty at the time, and this bizarre decision ultimately cost them my business for good.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. The French onion soup was cold and excessively salty. When we brought this to their attention, they simply reheated it instead of making a fresh batch, and the cheese on top was hard. I ordered my steak medium rare, but it arrived medium well. When I informed both the waiter and the manager, no one offered to replace it. The lobster roll was packed with tomatoes and had a fake taste. When we asked to speak with the manager, they simply offered an apology for the loud music instead of addressing our concerns. Overall, it was unprofessional, rude, overpriced, and the food was terrible. I strongly advise against going there.

What a great night! Live music, good eating, attentive server, beautiful atmosphere and the man was so beautiful! we started the night with some alcoholic milkshakes! the woman had a beautiful cowardly salad and I had the mushroom soup! so tasteful and creamy! we also had some ragnoons that the server said are made in the house! Obviously everything is made in the house, they even grind their own burger meat! the server was very informed about the menu and how the dishes were prepared. for my main course I had spinach, otopus, garnel and black rice. it was almost nice to eat and tasted even better.

From the location to the atmosphere, SOTE is a must visit if you are in the Pocono area. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on everything from their drinks to the awesome food. The unique menu offers everything you never knew you wanted, from an (alcoholic) Fruity Pebble milkshake to a deliciously creative waffle pressed chicken sandwich. The worst part about going to SOTE is not having the room to try the entire menu…. I could not recommend this restaurant enough.Don’t forget to compliment the chef!!!6 OUT OF 5 stars!!!

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't but 4 people here 2 at the bar and my wife and I at a table. First appearance pulling into the parking lot was easy and the paved lot had plenty of spots. The from the building it looks very impressive and rich with add ons like the copper roof and large modern windows. Being it wasn't busy we were seated immediately. Looking at the menu it stated it was a dinner menu. There wasn't many options. In my opinion there was just bar type food. I ordered the filet country fried steak. The food quality was fresh but the breading had no flavor nor did it have enough gravy. We don't drink and soda was $3.50 with no free refills. Over all staff was nice atmosphere was great as well.But pricey and food was bland.
