The Tavern - East Staffordshire

I was disappointed that the carvery was not available at the restaurant. I tried calling at 12pm, but it was too late to book a table at another restaurant.

I was disappointed that the chef was absent due to sickness, but fortunately the baguette and dessert menu were still available. Although I don't typically go for baguettes, I found it to be excellent and delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and doesn't change my opinion of the quality of this restaurant. I will definitely be returning often and will recommend it to others.

While on our way to the Christmas market, we made a reservation at the tavern for Sunday lunch. We were not let down. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was fantastic.

First time at the Tavern, great experience, nothing I could fault, have already booked again and have no doubt will become a regular visitor.

My partner and I had a wonderful night at the Tavern for a date night. The service was so friendly and prompt from the moment we walked in. Its a lovely pub with a great mix of bar area and dining, without being too divided so it still has a proper atmosphere. The food was fantastic and served very quickly. The scallops and the seabass were wonderful and my vegetarian partner enjoyed her salad and pasta equally so. Look forward to visiting again, thanks.
