The Granary Canvas - East Staffordshire

I waited 35 minutes with 3 friends for our breakfast rolls and tea to be served at this restaurant. There were only 2 staff members who seemed more focused on Just Eat and other delivery orders rather than the customers in the dining area, of which there were only 5. The bacon in my roll had a large amount of fatty rind, and the brown cob I ordered was much smaller than the white cob served to others, all for the price of £3.75 which I found to be a rip off. The lack of attention to customers was evident as the staff seemed more interested in chatting with a couple at a nearby table. After this experience, I decided to visit other nearby cafes for breakfast as I will definitely not be returning to this one. The restaurant was expensive, with poor quality food and service. It seems that other customers may feel the same way, as most opt to eat elsewhere where they also offer free parking, better value, quality, and service. My advice is to avoid this place and find somewhere else to dine.

Visited because my hotel was not currently able to offer breakfast. The Granary was beautiful calm atmosphere, full English break fast cooked to order, lovely mug of latte. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Could not have asked for anything more provided a great start to the day!

E P I C! I am not a big fan of Jacked Potatoes, but gaffer insisted to try one. So I did. I went for a chicken bacon one WOW!!! Absolutely made my day delicious, fresh, served with a smile on a face (not that it was visible due to facemask), but you can still feel it. I also heard they do next level sandwiches will have to try sometime! P.s. your cakes are incredible too! Munching your Millionaire's Shortcake as I type. THANK YOU! YOU ROCK! <3

This restaurant is perfect for a lunch or a quick bite. The staff is very friendly, the portions are generous, the food is beautifully cooked, and the prices are very reasonable. The cakes are delicious as well. They also offer takeout options. I really enjoy dining at this place!

I highly recommend ordering from The Granary, the food is delicious it only requires microwaving and is ready to eat. The selection of food and cakes is truly amazing and very filling.
