Tredici - East Rutherford

Not impressed. Came here for Mother's Day. From the outside, the place looked a mess under construction not a way to impress Mom! The inside hallway with the mismatched paint and view of the messy coatroom or whatever on the side was embarrassing. Food was okay, although a tad salty. Entree portion size was okay except for salad and dessert, which were paltry. Price fix menu choices were limited. Had to ask for a plain entree due to allergies but chef accommodated my off menu request. One in my party asked for milk instead of coffee or tea and had to pay $3 extra but was not told that when ordered. The paper sheet menu was icky. And most importantly, the busboy's pants were way too tight and looked as if they were going to rip at the seams if he bent over. Also, his shirt was only tucked in halfway not very classy. Also, one waitress went on and on about how sick she got from eating oysters in Italy. When I'm eating, especially when I'm dining out, I don't want to hear about other people getting sick from food. Overall, the food was okay, the other things noted need improvement.
