Mamoun's Falafel - East Rutherford

The food is acceptable, but there’s definitely room for improvement. I ordered a chicken kebab sandwich, and while it was reasonably good, the salad was crammed into the pita bread. It would be better if the tomatoes were chopped smaller, as most bites ended up tasting like a tomato sandwich. I could manage to eat 3 or 4 of them, but afterward, I didn’t feel great. The chicken was cooked a bit too far in some spots, which gave it a bitter taste. They offered flavored rice or salad, but I ended up with the salad by default. It would be nice if they just cut up the vegetables!

The shawarma here is the best I've ever tasted. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the flavors are delicious. The service is excellent too!

Delicious. Had the falafel bowl with hummus and baba on rice and greens: a whole lot of food for the money. Quick service, friendly staff, everything made correctly. We'll be back!

I made a catering reservation for delivery, checked out and then afterwards was called to say they actually dont deliver to my location.They asked me the day before AND recalled me the morning of to double confirm the time and when i went to pick up it wasnt ready.Not sure what the point is to call to confirm time if youre not going to care about it ...

This restaurant is one of my favorites! All the vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. At this location, you can order from a screen, which is really cool and includes pictures of all the menu items. Everything is so delicious, and I've never been disappointed. They offer a variety of falafel pitas, all of which are vegan.
