Bistro 135 Jazz Lounge And

We made a reservation online for Wed 2-25-15. We found we were running a bit late. I called to let them know we would be 20 minutes late- got an auto-attendant message stating the hours of operation and directing me to the web for reservations (or I could leave a message for a reservation). We arrived to find that the restaurant is closed for two weeks for maintenance. It seems it would be a good business practice under such circumstances to a) change the auto-attendant message to notify callers that the place is temporarily closed and b) temporarily suspend on-line reservations.

Our board had a dinner in the downstairs area last week. All of us really enjoyed our meals. I am a chicken french lover and theirs was excellent. Also, the bread pudding was perfect--creamy with a crisp top. Recommended!

Excellent service, great music and atmosphere, and all around good food. Highly recommend the duck and the creme catalane, only critique is that the scallops were over salted. Over all it was a lovely dining experience, and I wish I lived close enough to come back soon.

We absolutely love this restaurant. They have some of the best fusion cuisine in Rochester, with excellent music and wonderful service. Give it a try, I recommend sharing 4-5 different appetizers. You won't be disappointed!

My fiance and I have been here numerous times and are always delighted with the evening. The food is phenomenal, the music is terrific, and the overall atmosphere is really perfect for a nice night out. We have recommended this time and again and will continue to do so.
