The Green Dragon Inn

We visited this bar yesterday for Pre-Races drinks. I have never experienced such an rude and insulting customer service from a worker and actually the manager. absolutely horrific!

The restaurant is very polite and has plenty of space. They offer great deals during the week with their 2 for £9 menu, and those on the mailing list can also receive credits like 50% off mains, which is very appreciated. The pub food is of good quality, not gourmet but still consistently good. The prices and portion sizes are very reasonable. They are dog-friendly and easily accessible. Their wide selection of beers and cocktail menu make it worth a visit. I always enjoy coming here.

I had the urge to eat, but unfortunately the kitchen had just closed. However, they were still serving Timothy Taylor's beer, so that was a bonus.

I recently stopped by for a few drinks while in town. The pub may look small from the outside, but it is actually quite spacious inside. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming, just like a typical pub. Although I didn't try the food, it looked appetizing from what I saw being served. I would recommend checking it out.

A fantastic meal before we went to the races to donate our hard earned money to those poor bookies! It was pre booked and pre ordered and everything was exactly as we had arranged. The Guinness pie that I had was very good although on...our next trip I will be having the fish and chips that my wife had. Thank you
