Station Supper

We have used the station dinner bar for many years, and to most located, general excellent quality worth for money, but recently it seems to have been a change of administration and or own. we had 5 takeaways and...4 of them were disappointing. the rice, which should be a key component, was at the last 4 occasions either the cooked, fried or special, either the one over boiled or not properly rinsed at the beginning it was almost unusable. the slightly tasty crispy ribs of old, are now shocking cumps of fat pork full of gristle and lack the taste and for the Beijing style they lack the crispy coating, now they are only bbq ribs with sauce poured over the top. but what have they done with the crispy bark meat, at the last two places the meat is so thin and not present that if it cooks its only one tablet of roasted mais flour, which will become a giant chaos in mouth. but then other dishes such as the ingwer and early dwarf was so freshly tasty, there are obviously still some of the old magie in the kitchen and they still don't deliver? in this day and age at last, I do not think that there is much of an increase in price with the new menu, but the portion sizes have certainly shrunk.

Love the salt and pepper ribs and the chow mine. always generous portion and excellent service. the prawn toasts are very good and actually uses prawns (the other restaurants are not.)

Very efficient. friendly staff. nice eating and well prepared. I visit several times a month and I'm never disappointed

These small take away must have the best in the area good quality ingredients [superb huh carefully and clever preparation and cooking and very good value. Question

First time we’ve tried food from here and it will certainly be the last. Absolutely terrible don’t waste your money
