Shapla - East Riding of Yorkshire

Waited 40mins for meal, wrong dish served. Food was lukewarm. Our request to see the manager and complaint of cold food was totally ignored. We arrived at 6.07pm and left at 7.45pm ultimately having a lukewarm curry and an aggressive response from the 'stand in ' manager. AVOID WEEKEND BOOKINGS !!!!! You will be expected to compensate for under stafffing hence overbooking, members of arrogant staff,and very poor customer service.

Our first visit to this restaurant after recommendations from our friends… 1st class food combined with 1st class service. You really should visit this restaurant… we will be back… thank you Shapla

The food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Be sure to make a reservation in advance as the restaurant was already bustling by 6:30. The ambience was fantastic, and while the tables were closely spaced, it did not feel crowded or disruptive.

The Indian cuisine at this restaurant is delicious, with an extensive menu and excellent service. The charming atmosphere includes a separate bar area.

Another lovely evening at Shapla, East Cowick. Food was beautiful and staff very friendly and efficient. Been quite a few times now and it never disappoints. Would definitely visit if you haven’t already!
