We were looking for a place to have a Sunday lunch and remembering a similar post on the Sproatley Hub I decided to read the recommendations..... After reading the try here, try there and try here posts we opted for the Blue Bell in Sproatley. This was our first experience of eating here and we’ll be back I think that says it all....!!
Fantastic food, drink and a very warm welcome. If not a friend as you walk in you are as you walk out. cannot wait to return.
We went to a charity event at the pub during the Bank Holiday weekend and the entertainment was excellent, raising a lot of money for local charities. In addition to that, the pub is a charming, unique village pub with various seating areas to enjoy the selection of ales available. We come by occasionally and the landlady and regular patrons are always welcoming and friendly. Don't miss out on trying the Sangria served in Mason Jars - it's absolutely delicious.
What a unforgetable day and night We all had at THE BLUE BELL. The landlady made us all feel welcome everyone had a great time. And a fantastic host. They put a lovely marquee up with wonderful Chandeliers. It was truly magical. The food was delicious and my husband said excellent choice of beers and good prices. Cannot wait to to go for one of there famous dinners everone was talking about.
