Al's Pizza & Deli - East Randolph

We were passing through town and gave this place a try after reading other reviews. So glad we did! The pizza was exceptional and reasonably priced. We'll likely come back this way and order something else from the menu.

Love the NY style pizza, always tastes delicious no matter what slice you choose. And they have yummy desserts! Always greeted by owners each time.

Al's pizza is just yummy when you can get it! This place lacks organization and customer service. Try calling in an order and they never answer the phone!when you do get through be sure to check your order because it is often wrong. After the last incorrect order noticed when we got home hubby said he was done. I gave it one more shot, called for pick up. Went in early waited, listening to the phone go unanswered 13 times, multi wrong orders Blue cheese dressing is not ranch (poor lady was beyond frustrated! I went up to desk waiting behind a line of people begging to pay, finally check in on pizza wings find he wrote it down but never told kitchen! Promises wings for free, wait watch the continuation of an owner who can't multi task phone just ringing off hook. Finally pizza wings are done. I check, give the ranch dressing in with chicken wings to lady waiting while I wait still on blue cheese. $14 for an hour wait a pizza! Officially never going back. I rather drive the extra 15 mins to Cockadoodle Pizza get it timely right!

I hate to give 5 stars to a pizza shop,no matter how good .... 'cause it 's not high end gourmet ,right? Having said that ,this is a comparison of other pizza /diners that I 've been to.The food is excellent ,the service is friendly and generous .speaking of generous,the portions are very generous and quality is healthy and tasty .I have an abhorrence of onions and when it 's their mistake I 've stated no onions) they are very apologetic and quickly make it right.When I 've forgotten to add that,no onions,then they are equally quick to make it right and at no charge to me,and remain friendly and helpful .Their attitude and personalities really add to the ambience.I 've gotten a salad at other places and its 90% iceberg lettuce with slices of green peppers 3) and a coupla ' paper thin slices of dry ,orange tomatoes .over to Al 's ,mesclun lettuce and greens nutritious) grape tomatoes sweet and flavor full ,cucumber slices ,carrots shredded.So good and so much quality for the same amount of money.everything is crisp and fresh .Specials and sandwiches are innovative ,tasty altogether a better bargain .Can you say Cuban sandwiches .....yum
