Minas Cafe Steakhouse - East Providence

I had recently eaten with my man at lunchtime. eating was absolutely delicious! the personal was attentive and friendly. we will definitely come back!

I think I set my expectations too high for my first time toa Brazilian steakhouse.While the food has great flavor the main point of coming to a Brazilian steakhouse is the meats. The regular beef was said to be medium, but was more like well. It was hard and chewy. The best cuts seemed to be those wrapped in bacon. So in hindsight, always choose bacon wrapped XYZ. They even bacon wrap sausage! Anyhow, I'd like to go back when they're busy to see if the meats aren't so well done as they won't have been sitting as long on the heat.We were told that they're currently in a buffet style mode. I don't know if this will change in the future but it works. They charge by weight and overall it was an affordable lunch with my wife and kids.

Had been to the Norwood location so was delighted to have them open a new location right down the street from my house. Would say this location is actually better, nicer atmosphere inside, same great food. It's different from other Brazilian restaurants I have been to where it's all you can eat, you pay by the pound instead. Which is better if you just want a normal amount of food since it's much less cost then the all you can eat places. Buffet style sides and the meats are at a carving station and you tell the cook what you would like and doneness of the meat. Lots of variety from different cuts of beef, to pork, chicken and sausage.

What a pleasant surprise! Tried this spot on a whim the other day. Was a little thrown off by the set up but I was so glad we decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were so friendly and informative. I’m a picky eater but, even though the selection was on the smaller side of your average buffet, everything I tried was very good. They definitely offer quality food here. Will be back again for sure!

Cafeteria style dining. Grab a plate at the door, there is one small cold buffet one small hot buffet. Wait your turn to add meats cut to order, then your plate is weighed. Prices are based on weight of food, so your total could be a little or a lot. Multiple trips to the buffet and meat counter can be made. Just ask for a card in case you want a second plate. Order all beverages from the bar, then go find a table. Seems like low scale dining, given the décor is nicer.But it's still a good place with good food. Dining area is small. If possible, I would recommend getting a table before going for food. Maybe having one member of your party wait and go up after others have returned.
