It included a couple of pieces of rather tough fish, some shredded cabbage and rice. For $12.50 it was overpriced and underwhelming. Had the fish been tender I would be happy to pay $9.00. There are a few tables inside, staff are efficient and obliging but I see this as purely a transaction rather than an enjoyable or sociable meal. Better options for quality and ambience nearby.
A convenient but nice sushi store. I went in for lunch, looked at the terrific selection of sushi and meals before taking 1 mixed and 1 Teriyaki Chicken. Both were soft and moist with great flavours. The only thing disappointing was the high price ($& for five pieces) and the soy sauce container. (difficult and messy to open) But overall it was a good sushi restaurant of which I would be very inclined to revisit.
These guys aren't bad, but personally I prefer Fuku a little further down the road. Sushi at Royal is a little bit cheaper, and good value for money, but not a good quality as Fuku.
Quick Japanese takeaway open Monday to Friday for office workers in East Perth. Sushi is a little on the pricey side but you can get it in brown rice (50c extra) from the sushi to the hot meals. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it's a good option of you're in the area.
This place used to have more authentic Japanese food. Not sure if the business has changed hands, but the food standard has definitely been affected. The sushi rice is quite stodgy and gluey, disappointing particularly when you consider that half the pleasure of eating sushi is the mouthfeel of those distinct glossy little grains of rice.
