Jason's Deli - East Peoria

Had to wait about 20min for a sandwich. There were many people ahead of me who had their orders messed up with multiple items missing. I think that tipping while paying for the order is a scam. How can you expect a tip for food that hadn't been in my hands yet? Ridiculous. This is my response after the owner wrote back: Jason, why would I call you? What do you want to talk about? Your staff looked overworked and stressed out and on the edge. I think it is them you need to talk first. Their morale goes up= customer satisfaction goes up.

I just tried this restaurant for the first time. I ordered a to-go salad from the salad bar with a drink. The to-go container was large, the salad bar had fresh ingredients, and there were plenty of options to choose from! It was the best salad I've had in a long time! I also highly recommend the cornbread muffins and garlic toast. Everything was delicious. The staff were very polite too!

I dined at this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by the delicious food and friendly service. The salad bar offered a wide variety of options to choose from. I really enjoyed the Muffalata sandwich. I look forward to returning to try out more of their menu choices.

This is the nicest Jason’s Deli we have been to. The dining room is attractive and designed for comfort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And, as always, the food is fresh and delicious.

I had the worst dining experience ever at this restaurant. Halfway through my sandwich, I found a long black hair in my mouth. When I approached the counter to inform someone, a man asked what I needed and showed the manager, who also had long black hair. She casually threw away the hair and asked what I had. I told her I didn't want another sandwich, and she walked away without a word. I didn't even receive an apology. When she returned with a refund, I told her she was rude, and she argued with me. Despite the fact that my meal was ruined by no fault of my own, she continued to be disrespectful. She even threatened to refuse me service, which was unnecessary as I was already done eating and had no intention of returning. I will be sharing this horrible experience with everyone I know. The level of rudeness from someone claiming to be the manager was shocking.
