Hunter The - EAST NORWICH

Had the privilege of tasting several of the specials this evening. Seared scallops with black truffles in a foie gras sauce and black truffle ravioli in a champagne sauce. Both dishes were huge WOWS. Outstanding execution and presentation. As always, Francisco was the perfect, attentive server. We just love Hunter!

This was our third visit, and while we enjoyed our meal, this was the third time we were presented with the same menu. The obviously talented chef needs to find a cure for menu fatigue. That said, Hunter is one of the better places on Long Island to have a well cooked, properly served dinner. The half-price wine on Wednesdays can't be beat.

Hunter is starting to feel like home. Every visit has been incredibly enjoyable. Meeting Hunter, the chef, was very special. The passion he has for every plate that comes out of the kitchen was clearly evident. We shared 5 different appetizers and every one was well presented and full of flavor. We also had the special butternut squash ravioli and it was delicious. We are looking forward to our next visit!
