I have had the chance to photograph a number of weddings at The Stanwick Hotel over the years. I look forward to returning to this venue very soon! Had a lovely time here with friends for a celebration meal and drinks. We were a party of fourteen and we all enjoyed our afternoon. The hotel is set in stunning surroundings and our visit was on a beautiful sunny October day so we were able to take lots of photos in the garden. The dinning area was tastefully decorated, bright and clean. It looks out over the gardens with amazing views. Service was excellent as was the food. As a 78 year old woman, I booked a very comfortable room for 3 nights in September. On arrival I was given a room that was in the attic, accessed by a long flight of steep stairs without any offer of assistance. There was a wedding party at the same time and assume I was given the cheaper room in the attic without any communication from the hotel to assess if I was capable of climbing the stairs.
