Kings Head - East Northamptonshire

Visited the Kings Head last month and had a superb Sunday lunch, so decided to rebook for a friends birthday today, well it couldn 't have more disappointing.... they had run out of orange juice, the pate clearly wasn 't chicken liver parfit, the cottage pie I asked my friend to try who is also a home cook of 50 yrs plus and her reaction was school dinner as it was so bland. Certainly not the experience of the month before. The party of 4 agreed we will not be returning.

Amazing service. Brilliant atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was gorgeous. Dined in the igloo. Wonderful. Highly recommend. Thank you so much. Will definitely return soon.

We had a wonderful Christmas lunch and the The King's Head. The service was so attentive, the food was delicious and portions exceptionally generous. The whole experience was memorable. Thank you so much.

After flagging with the waitress that a member of our party was very allergic to mustard, we found a menu item which we were assured was mustard-free, Said person was then the dish with a large amount of the ingredient and was subsequently very unwell.

Brilliant place. Lovely food- always fresh and delicious. Great staff, really friendly and helpful. Lovely garden down to the river, and pods fir private dining if it’s too chilly to sit outside. Dogs welcomed, and children have room to run about on the grass. Great offers during the week, pizza evenings, tapas evenings and the normal great menu. Love this place, if in the area do visit.
