Tops Diner - East Newark

This was my first time visiting Tops Diner. It didn’t take long to understand why it was voted one of New Jersey’s best restaurants. The food was outstanding, the service was top notch and the decor was more chic bistro than diner. If you find yourself in Newark, Tops Diner should be at the top of your schedule! We will be back.

Service sucks and it was hair in my food ! And the food wasn’t wat I expected!

No wonder it’s rated as one of the best, if not the best, diner in the country! Food and service were amazing!!

It was my first time at Top’s Diner and now I understand why it’s so highly rated! Great brunch experience today. Excellent food and service. I will definitely be back!

I believe my wedding name was Jose he was amazing. The music was a little loud but everything else was great. I didn’t want to get a mimosa but they told me I had to wait till 12 o’clock. I don’t think that was fair but that’s the rules anyway, all in all it was it was OK.
