Salvadoreno #3 Pupusas - East Mesa

I ordered the 2 Pupusas Combo frijole y queso and pollo y queso, both amazing!!! rice was good, beans are watery but taste good. curtido and salsa both really good!

The tamales de chipilin, so good and vegetarian. The pupusas de beans and cheese super good.

Okay technically I had just finished eating the Mushrooms Cheese before I took the picture, but it is technically present in my stomach!! 10/10 I love this place and I love papusas! <3 they hold together better here than the other Salvi restaurants I apos;ve tried in the city. The Beans Cheese is my favorite standard to eat if I don apos;t want to mess with meat but still want protein. I have celiac so I can apos;t eat a full on bean and cheese burrito anymore, so the mostly-corn harina is much easier on my stomach. If you apos;ve never had papusas or Salvadoran food, do yourself a favor and order some right now!!!

Poorly packaged. Unable to eat a portion of my meal as it ended up at the bottom of the bag.
