The Grand Howl - East London

The food was delicious and satisfying. It had exactly what we were looking for. There were so many vegan choices, I would definitely come back.

The cafe space was lovely, but I felt the atmosphere was not very welcoming and overly hipster. I don't plan on returning.

I can't praise The Great Howl enough. The owner, Greg, has done an amazing job over the years maintaining the quality of food and delicious home-roasted coffee. It's the best place in Hackney for vegan brunch, and they also offer great vegan bakes and coffee to go. The only downside is that it's quite small and can get very busy on weekends in the late morning, so be sure to arrive early to avoid the crowds!

Came to a recommendation from someone in a nearby braterei. the coffee really enjoyed. bananenbrot served in huge slices is also great. complete vegetarian brunch lunch menu.
