Jassies - East Lindsey

Wow! We had the most incredible afternoon tea here. Everything was freshly prepared and the cakes were homemade. And unlike some places where you feel a little cheated on portions, there was none of that here. To say it was generous doesn’t cover it! And all that with friendly service! I can’t recommend Jassies highly enough. If you want a great treat for someone, or just for yourself, then go here for their afternoon tea. Book in advance though (easy via Facebook messenger . Staying in holiday in Louth we were exploring the lovely town and changed upon this lovely little cafe for lunch. Really friendly and professional staff. Delicious savoury crepes and smoothies. Amazing cakes!

I have been visiting this little gem in the Lincolnshire Wolds for a few years. There is something there for everyone Sweets, coffee, omelettes, ice-cream and cake. Between myself and my family we have pretty much had everything on the menu several times If you are looking for a special occasion cake they are also fantastic my Step Son was really pleased with his birthday cake. Seating outside which is great if you are taking your dog into town or popping out on your bike.

Whilst visiting a friend in Louth we came across this little cafe/sweet shop. We were a little early but the young lady opened up the sweet shop for us. Such an array of sweets , old fashioned clove balls for my 81 year old dad, liquorice pontefract cakes for my hubby and the most wonderful dark chocolate coated coffee beans. Not sure what I will do once I have eaten them as I live in Oxford!!!must find out if they do mail order !

I thoroughly enjoyed both of my visits to this excellent little café today. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, the cappuccinos were just right for me and the panini was really tasty ideal for my lunch. I sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed chatting to the lady opposite.
