We were pleasantly surprised upon entering, as the walls were adorned with memorabilia from WW2 and the dam busters. The staff was lovely and helpful, and our tea and breakfast were made to order and delicious. Overall, a fantastic place to visit. Thank you.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. It reminds me a lot of a French cafe near Pegasus Bridge in France. The waitress who took care of us was exceptionally lovely. My son really enjoyed his toasted sandwich. I feel like a special guest whenever I dine here.
We were recommended this tearoom, so we drove 30 miles to lovely Woodhall Spa for a visit. The tearoom was filled with WW2 memorabilia, which was charming but a bit dusty and disorganized. The staff, particularly Janet, seemed unenthusiastic and robotic in their welcome. My hot chocolate was disappointing, being thin, watery, and powdery. The apple pies and ice cream were decent, as was my husband's coffee. However, the overall atmosphere lacked the warmth and charm we were hoping for. Playing radio pop music instead of WW2-themed music seemed out of place. There are better coffee options in Woodhall Spa. To top it off, we overheard staff making racist comments about foreigners as we were leaving. We made the effort to visit, but we recommend saving yourself the trouble and skipping this tearoom.
We came across this cafe after a long walk around Woodhall Spa, it was around 3pm and they very kindly made us a sandwich and a cuppa of tea. Sandwich was lovely as was the brew and the atmosphere was great. Next time we are in the area we will definitely have lunch here again
We Googled places to eat in Woodhall Spa after a planned 7 mile circular walk. We decided on Janet's due to their excellent reviews and RAF decorated interior. The latter was impressive and very patriotic, and their service was attentive, cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The bacon and sausage baps were the best we've had in years we highly recommend this cafe; their cakes looked wonderful as well!
