Staff christmas get together. 40 of is, excellent atmosphere, bar staff very helpful and friendly and coped well. The buffet food was delicious, couldnt have asked for more. Great effort by all. HUGE THANK YOU to everyone.

A pleasant spot for a relaxed dinner. The pies are very good, as are the dishes to share (the grilled halloumi and camembert are a delight). The atmosphere is fairly calm for a pub.

Possibly the worst meal ever. Ordered a lasagne and Steak Pie. Long wait and then a quick ping later the microwave food arrived. Needed a chainsaw to get through the pastry, as it was a little stale. Lasagne was sloppy. Long queue for drinks and no system in place. To then find out the beer I wanted wasnt on. Poor all round and not worth the 's.

Attended at 1400 told a 45 minute wait for food so waited in the end for well over an hour.Food terrible cold and macaroni cheese a joke watery . Was going to send back but took over an hour to come out to us not busy at all in pub . Never going back . Left after eating the chips cheesed off .

We had a meal here yesterday and it was really nice. The pie was full of meat and of a good size. All very tasty and hot. The bar service was a bit naff though as in spite of several staff in work, only one guy left behind the bar meaning a considerable wait. Don’t know where the manager was but clearly not available to see the queue waiting to be served.
