I have only visited this restaurant for some darts tournaments and found it to be very friendly. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 5.

We recently held my father's wake at this restaurant. From the moment I contacted Gill, she was incredibly helpful and had everything organized for our arrival. The buffet, particularly the homemade cakes and brownies, was fantastic. Gill went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Thank you, Gill, for providing a lovely ending to a tough day. This charming family-owned local pub specializes in delicious homemade pies and puddings. We thoroughly enjoyed the Steak and Marmite Mushroom pie, as well as the Chicken Mushroom Pie, both served with a generous amount of flavorful gravy. The Rhubarb Crumble with custard for dessert was also a delightful treat. The pub has a cozy atmosphere and a beer garden at the back. Additionally, the dedicated darts area with five illuminated boards impressed us, especially with a National competition happening during our visit. The pub also has its own parking area available.
