Paola's East Hampton

Plebeian waste of money and time. Outrageously expensive and flavorless. The sooner this looser closes the better.

I had one of the worst meals I’ve ever encountered in the Hamptons! My pasta appetizer was greasy, and the pasta was undercooked—not al dente at all! The main course was just as disappointing. I mistakenly thought grilled chicken would be a safe option, but I was wrong! The chicken seemed like it had been pre-grilled and frozen, then microwaved before being served. It was terrible! I was dining with three other guests, and they were equally dismayed by their choices. We had overcooked skirt steak, bland pasta dishes, dry fish, and Dairy Queen desserts to top off this culinary disaster. There should be a warning sign outside: toxic waste being served inside!

We ordered the beet salad, the freshly made thin crust REAL ITALIAN pizza, the seafood salad, and dessert. Wow! The food was incredibly delicious and hearty! I learned that Paola uses only the finest ingredients: fresh organic produce without pesticides, and all the meat comes from grass-fed, free-range animals. It was all absolutely delightful. The service was top-notch, just like at Paola’s West on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The staff is friendly in a warm and unobtrusive way. The waitstaff is cheerful, but not overly enthusiastic. It felt like our glasses were always full, almost as if an invisible water nymph were watching over us, refilling our glasses as soon as we took a sip! The staff remains unnoticed until you need assistance, and then a kind lady or gentleman appears right at your table to help with whatever you need. This kind of 5-star service made our dining experience relaxing, enjoyable, and truly memorable for my family. Enjoy!

I had two martinis and three half glasses of Chianti, and the total came to $98. The food was average and definitely overpriced. However, the service was good!

WOW... this “restaurant” is still running? Doesn’t deserve any star. Worst experience I ve ever had in the Hamptons. Don’t even understand how this place is still running given its poor standards. The restaurant was empty, the service was rude and the food was v bad. The overall atmosphere was weird, it is as if the staff doesn’t care about customers. Never again!
